BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: THE STORY OF BORN TO RUN

This one hour radio documentary tells the inside story of Bruce Springsteen's classic album, Born To Run on it's 30th anniversary.

Interviewees include Bruce Springsteen, members of his E Street Band past & present (Roy Bittan, Ernest "Boom" Carter, Clarence Clemons, Danny Federici, Nils Lofgren, David Sancious, Patti Scialfa, Garry Tallent, Miami Steve Van Zandt, Max Weinberg), album producer Jon Landau, album engineer Jimmy Iovine and Springsteen's then-manager Mike Appel.

The program also contains never-before-heard outtakes & alternate versions of songs from the Born To Run recording sessions.

"In essence, it's a lot of different versions of the 8 songs from Born To Run. The majority are only heard in the doc & aren't commercially available. The only stray that I know of is a song called A Love So Fine, a BTR outtake that pops up once or twice & eventually became Paradise By The C, which is on the Live 75-85 CD; it's an instrumental." - Mark Hagen, Producer
