On May 30, 1957, Buddy Guy recorded his first demo in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Four months later he took a train to Chicago. Over the course of the next 50 years – from his early Chess sessions with Muddy Waters to his legendary collaboration with Junior Wells to present day sessions with John Mayer and Eric Clapton – Buddy Guy would go on to influence generation after generation of guitar players.
